Authors on Stage with Jill Castle, author of "Fearless Feeding"
Author Jill Castle will be at the Library to discuss her book Fearless Feeding on Tuesday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. This event is co-sponsored by Elm Street Books.
Jill Castle, RN, is the co-author, with fellow pediatric nutritionist Maryann Jacobsen, of Fearless Feeding. The authors maintain that children don’t come with operating instructions, and creating healthy eating habits often proves to be one of parenting’s biggest challenges. Pediatric nutritionists Jill Castle and Maryann Jacobsen have teamed up to provide an essential guide to understanding and improving any child's eating habit. Fearless Feeding not only simplifies nutrition information and offers step-by-step feeding guidance, but explains the connection between eating habits and different stages of development.
Fearless Feeding also tackles issues such as food allergies, nutrient deficiencies and weight management, helping parents identify a problem and decide if and when they might need professional help. In short, it is the go-to book for all topics related to healthy nutrition and eating habits, full of great recipes and advice on helping parents relax about feeding the family.
