Every month the New Canaan Library adds more than a hundred new fiction titles for adults. Started Early, Took My Dog -- In the fourth title in Kate Atkinson's wonderful Scottish mystery series, retired police detective Tracy Waterhouse and former detective Jackson Brodie find their lives spinning out of control after she takes custody of an ex-con's child and he rescues an abused dog.  Dog in tow, Jackson is about to learn, along with Tracy, that no good deed goes unpunished.
