Teen Tech Week: DIY @ Your Library

 

 

The Library is celebrating the annual Teen Tech Week initiative with a series of events for teens.

 

 

 

 

 

Come play Minecraft with your friends on our Library server!  Please bring a device to play on if you can, and your Minecraft player name if you have one.  For grades 5-12.

Get registered to use our new 3D printer!  Once you attend this Makerbot training session, you can sign up to use our 3D printer anytime!  We’ll show you how to use the printer, and the basics of how to find and download something to make.  For ages 12-18.

Teens: want to learn Python?  Scratch?  How to make your own iPhone game?  Never touched a line of code and curious to learn?  Interested teens at any level welcome to come and try your hand at an hour of coding.  Please bring a laptop if you can.  For ages 12-18.

Learn how to make your own 3D models using Autodesk 123D apps.

Do you have a great idea for something to 3D print?  Learn how to make it a reality!  Class will be taught by former DreamWorks Animator George Schermer.

Please bring a laptop or iPad if you can so you can follow along. 123D Design is iPad-compatible only for mobile, though it will work on any laptop or desktop computer.  For ages 12-18.
