Hero the Robot

Stop by the Library’s MakerLab and meet Hero, a humanoid robot. Acquired through a generous private gift, Hero recently joined the Library team. He will be meeting with library patrons on an ongoing basis so keep an eye out for future dates!.

You will see Hero respond to voice commands, recognize faces, talk, walk, kick a soccer ball and dance. The 15 minute demonstration is free and open to the public; registration not required. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this fascinating new technology. Hero is a¬†fun way for all ages to learn about robotics and programming.
