July 26, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Over four days, students will be introduced to 3D printing and 3D modelling and presented with an engineering challenge. Using Tinkercad, a browser-based 3D modelling application, students will complete 3D design projects to print on the 3D printers including a final challenge: how much weight can your boat hold before it sinks? How fast can you blow your boat to the finish line? As part of this workshop, participants will be certified to use the 3D printers in the Library’s MakerLab. This series will meet Tuesday-Friday, July 25-28 from 10-11:30 AM.
For ages 10-14.
