Anyone concerned with protecting their identity and personal information from theft and misuse will benefit from this class. Participants gain insights into the techniques used by cyber criminals to steal individual’s identity and learn various techniques to enhance their own security when choosing user ids,  passwords and “shared secrets” when accessing the Internet. In this seminar participants will gain a basic understanding of what identity is, the risks of sharing personal information in social media and other websites, and learn various techniques to protect their own identity and personal information.

Richard Gunzel is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Secure I.T. Risk Solutions LLC, an IT risk and data protection consulting practice. Richard is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. He has also completed numerous industry sponsored external and corporate provided training in various areas of information technology, data security, and broadband networking.
