Enjoy an evening of Russian classical music with Carnegie Hall performing pianist and Moscow Conservatory faculty member Vyacheslav Gryaznov. The program will include his transcriptions of pieces by composers Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Glinka. Mr. Gryaznov will take time to answer a few questions from the audience at the end of the performance.


Vyacheslav Gryaznov graduated with honors from the Moscow State Conservatory. He continued at the Moscow Conservatory as a post-graduate student, and is now on the teaching faculty. In 2016 he accepted the Yale School of Music’s invitation to fulfill the Artist Diploma program. Mr. Gryaznov is a member of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, which represents him in Russia, and is an Artist in Residence with The Drozdoff Society in the United States. His performances include the Berliner Philharmonie and Carnegie Hall. Vyacheslav Gryaznov has authored and published more than 30 concert arrangements and transcriptions and earned a reputation as one of the most remarkable young arrangers working today; he has just recorded a CD of them on the Steinway & Sons label.
