Join naturalist Katherine Wagner-Reiss as she shares easy ways to recognize the various types of trees that are planted on South Avenue right here in New Canaan. Learn local history, like which tree seeds were used as a coffee substitute during the Civil War.

This program is full.

This program can accommodate up to 25 participants. Please be aware, this tour will require participants to be standing and walking for a full hour. This program is recommended for participants who are at least 12 years old or older. Participants will meet in Curtis Gallery at 6pm, then begin the tour together.

Katherine Wagner-Reiss holds a Certificate in Botany from the New York Botanical Garden, and has led numerous nature the tours. She is a long-time resident of New Canaan.
