New Canaan Library Welcomes Katharine Weber

Category: Authors on Stage
Location: Adrian Lamb Room

Katharine Weber has written an evocative and insightful memoir of her extraordinary family, The Memory of All That: George Gershwin, Kay Swift and My Families Legacy of Infidelities.  As her exploration stretches back over generations of highly influential, creative individuals, central to the tale is the dynamic relationship between her maternal grandmother Kay Swift and composer George Gershwin. The event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Historical Society of Lower Fairfield County.

Elm Street Books also sponsors the event and will be on hand to sell copies of the book.

Katharine Weber is the author of five other novels: True Confections, Triangle, The Little Women, The Music Lesson, and Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than they Appear. Ms. Weber has taught fiction writing at Yale, Goucher College and other learning institutions. She is currently thesis advisor in the graduate writing program at Columbia University.
