Notes in MidWinter: The Cynthia Sayer Jazz Quartet

The Notes in MidWinter concert series concludes with "Swing Banjo and Hot Jazz," presented by the Cynthia Sayer Jazz Quartet.  Members of the quartet are Cynthia Sayer, jazz banjo and vocals, with Adrian Cunningham, clarinet/sax, Mike Weatherly, string bass, and Larry Eagle, drums.

Sayer is one of the world’s top banjoists and soloists, and has been a member of Woody Allen’s New Orleans jazz band for more than a decade. She has worked with a variety of jazz and popular artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Bucky Pizzarelli, Marvin Hamlisch and Les Paul, as well as bluegrass/roots/country greats Tony Trischka and John McEuen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
