We are pleased to welcome back travel journalist and concierge Susan Farewell, who will speak on the topic of traveling to Africa, whether it be going on safari, trekking through Uganda or Rwanda in search of gorillas, or seeing Cape Town and Victoria Falls. Ms. Farewell will appear at the Library on Thursday, May 30, at 7:00 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. This is the first in a series of Destination Nights in which she will provide inspiration, as well as pragmatic advice as to how to make trips of a lifetime become a reality.

The founder of Farewell Travels, Susan has a long history as a traveler. Beginning as a child in a family who traveled a great deal, she broadened her horizons as a student studying abroad, and then went on to become a professional travel journalist and writer. She expanded her role as that of a travel concierge after so many of her readers wanted to have travel experiences similar to hers.
