UN Committee Lecture Features Author Scott Anderson
Scott Anderson, author of the bestselling book, Lawrence in Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly and the Making of the Modern Middle East, will speak at the Library in a program co-sponsored by the United Nations Committee of New Canaan, on Sunday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room.
Mr. Anderson is an American novelist, journalist, and a veteran war correspondent. He wrote the novels Triage and Moonlight Hotel; and several works of non-fiction, including The Man Who tried to Save the World, and War Zones. He is a frequent contributor to the New York Times Magazine, GQ, Esquire, Men’s Journal, Vanity Fair and other publications. Lawrence in Arabia is his most recent book.
