Westside Wind and Piano Trio Opens Notes in MidWinter Series

The Westside Wind and Piano Trio opens the 2014 Notes in MidWinter concert series with chamber music for flute, bassoon, and piano.  Performed by Chelsea Knox, flute, Daryn Zubke, bassoon, and Renate Rohlfing, piano, the program will include works by Philippe Gaubert, Johann Freidrich Fasch, George Enescu, J. S. Bach, and Beethoven.

Notes in MidWinter enlivens wintry Sunday afternoons with free concerts featuring music ranging from chamber and classical to jazz and contemporary vocals.  The five-part series runs from January 5th – February 2, on Sundays at 2 pm in the Adrian Lamb Room.

The concert series is organized and sponsored by the Music Committee of the Friends of the New Canaan Library, chaired by Wendy Kerner.  Registration is not required, but space is limited and early arrival is recommended.
