Category: Classes and WorkshopsCategory: Speakers & Lecture Series
Location: Adrian Lamb Room

This business workshop will help you gain insights on: why a business plan is important and the preparation needed to begin writing it, the components of a business plan, and how to put it all together with supporting documentation.  This program is presented by David Albright in cooperation with SCORE.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get started, grow, and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. Because their work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and a network of 11,000+ volunteers, they are able to deliver services and advice at no charge or at very low cost.

David Albright, a SCORE volunteer, made his career in the consumer products arena. He held the positions of President, Pepperidge Farm, Inc.; President of Godiva Chocolatier Worldwide and President and COO of Glacial Confections, a start-up venture. He currently offers consulting services to venture capital firms focusing on food and confectionary industries. David holds a BS degree from Villanova University, an MBA from Indiana University and a Certificate in Financial Planning (CFA) from Boston University.
