World Events, History and Culture Book Group

Category: Book Groups & Discussions
Location: Plaut Room

On Wednesday, December 14, at 7:30 p.m., the World Events, History and Culture Book Group will discuss Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell.

In Outliers, the best-selling author of Blink identifies the qualities of successful people, posing theories about the cultural, family, and idiosyncratic factors that shape high achievers, in a resource that covers such topics as the secrets of software billionaires, why certain cultures are associated with better academic performance, and why the Beatles earned their fame.

The discussion is free and open to the public, and will be led by Ken Hecht.  Copies of Outliers are available for check-out.
