Show Your Creativity at New Canaan Library’s Annual Pumpkin Fest Carving Contest and Stroll!
Come see the new Schubert Children’s Garden ablaze with jack-o-lanterns! Children and adults of all ages are invited to purchase and carve a pumpkin for display in the garden, which will be transformed into a spooktacular spectacle.
To kick off the stroll, Ms. Marie will lead a special spooky storytime! Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show for Children, Teens, and Adults, Funniest, and Scariest Jack-o-Lanterns. All proceeds will benefit Family Services and the Children’s Room at New Canaan Library.

How to Participate:
- Reserve your pumpkin ($35.00) HERE
- Pumpkin Pickup: Saturday, October 14, 10-2pm at the Library
- Return Your Carved Pumpkin: Friday, October 20, 9-3pm at the Library
- Bring your friends and family to Pumpkin Fest at New Canaan Library Friday, October 20, 5-8pm! Admission is free. (Contest entrants do not need to be present to win.)
