A rich collection of books and other media supported with a generous gift from a New Canaan family.

The Arturo Alfandari Collection of European Art from A.D. 400 -1900

This collection was established by Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Layton in memory of their friend, Arturo Alfandari, who kindled their interest in European art.
