Hit That Jive! Free Concert Tonight - Rain or Shine!

The Friends of the Library present the annual Notes in Summer concert, featuring Moxie, on Friday, June 22, at 7:30 pm.

Dorothy Goldberg,  Kate O’Brien, and Diane Orson perform their original arrangements of swing, Brazilian samba, jazz tunes, and romantic ballads. Among their popular numbers are "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B," "Take the A Train," and "Chattanooga Choo Choo."  A full rhythm section, two hot violins, authentic costumes and choreography make this show a blast of summer fun! Enjoyable for all ages.

Notes in Summer is sponsored by the Music Committee of the Friends of the Library, Wendy Kerner Lucas, chair. The concert is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Outside at the West Plaza Entrance or in the Lamb Room in case of rain.
