Bride's story -- Amir is twenty years old when she marries her husband, a boy named Karluk from a neighboring village. Adjusting to life in a new household can be trying for any young bride, but Amir's husband is eight years her junior! Amir was a strong, sophisticated hunter and horsewoman in her village, but though their villages were next to each other, their customs are very different. As Amir introduces Karluk to the foods and pastimes that were popular among her comrades back home, the warmth she feels for her young husband grows.

 

Jericho : Season 3. Vol. 1, Civil war -- Continues the story line from the cancelled television program Jericho, about a series nuclear detonations that disrupt American life and a sinister new government that emerges in the aftermath.

 

 

 

Steve Rogers, super-soldier -- Originally a 90-pound weakling from New York City's Lower East Side, Steve Rogers was transformed into Captain America by the legendary super-soldier serum -- shortly before the formula was lost, seemingly forever. But now, years later, the grandson of the treatment's creator has rediscovered the serum and plans to sell it to the highest bidder. Suddenly, Rogers is confronted with the possibility of a world overrun by super-soldiers, in which any despot willing to pony up the cash could have his very own unstoppable army. Can Rogers prevent the formula from changing hands before it's too late?

 

Dracula -- Graphic novel adaptation of the Bram Stoker classic, in which young Jonathan Harker first meets and then must destroy Count Dracula in order to save those closest to him.

 

 

 

Bakuman. Vol. 6, Recklessness and guts -- Moritaka and Akito's hard work is paying off, and they start challenging their rival Eiji's popularity in Shonen Jump. Green Lantern: emerald warriors -- Honor Lantern Guy Gardner has never played by anyone's rules. The Griff : a graphic novel -- The mayhem begins when an ancient alien beacon is unwittingly activated, summoning behemoth spaceships from the far reaches of the galaxy. Destroying communications, emergency, and military infrastructure, they systematically kill everyone on the planet. Well, almost everyone. A pesky trio of New Yorkers isn't about to roll out the red carpet or roll over and die for these unwelcome intergalactic marauders.
