A Conversation with Ruby Bridges (In-Person)

February 16, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Children’s Room

In honor of Black History Month, we have joined with Grace Farms Foundation and more than two dozen sponsors to create a virtual conversation with civil rights icon Ruby Bridges. In her interview, led by Grace Farms Community Initiative Director Karen Kariuki, Ms. Bridges spoke about her life, experiences, and thoughts on fostering greater understanding, dialogue, and inclusivity in all of our communities. We will be watching the hour-long interview and then following up with a conversation discussing elements of the interview. Best for parents and families with school-age children.

Please Register Here (Please find here our Zoom showings for 2/8 @ 7 PM, 2/9 @ 12 PM, 2/10 @ 4:30 PM)

We are grateful to support this pivotal conversation alongside Grace Farms Foundation, East School, South School, West School, The Children’s School, NBC Sports, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, New Canaan Community Foundation, members of the Ridgefield Alliance, St. Aloysius Parish, The Congregational Church of New Canaan, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Temple Sinai, Grace Community Church, and B kind Foundation.
