Navigating the Ship’s Manifests: Take a really close look at all the information that these important records can provide. Directed to those who have been researching for a long time and those just beginning. Find out what information is needed to locate manifests, find the markings to learn which immigrants were detained and why, who they left behind, the address where they were headed, and who they were coming to see. The presentation will begin with a short, moving PowerPoint presentation on the immigration process set to music.

Toni McKeen has taught genealogy courses for the last 14 years in her hometown of Ridgefield, CT. She has taught over 4,000 hours of genealogy courses at Founders Hall in Ridgefield and Redding, CT as well as Bronxville and Mamaroneck, NY. Toni has also been a popular lecturer at various genealogy societies in the New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Boston, and Long Island areas.
