Meet our Artist-in-Residence Alissa Siegal and view her work in our Curtis Gallery.  In the studio, use templates of local animals or draw your own, then cut out and decorate to create unique Animal Cutouts.  Be inspired by the gallery show, or come with your own inventive ideas!  For grades K-4.

New Canaan Library presents our second Artist in Residence, artist Alissa Siegal, and her exhibition “Animal Nature” on view in the Curtis Gallery from April 10 to May 2.  Her art is on traffic signal boxes throughout the city of Stamford, and has been exhibited in local businesses, government offices, health care centers, The Palace Theater, feature films, and ArtWalk events. She is a past president of the Loft Artists Association and an artist associate at the Katonah Museum of Art, and is a teaching artist with the Aldrich Museum of Art in Ridgefield.
