Couples of Abstract Expressionism explores four artists…Willem and Elaine de Kooning, and Lee Krasner and her husband, Jackson Pollock.  This lecture will look at each of these artist’s careers and the influence, and impact, they had on each other. 

Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman, of ArtScapades, began teaching art appreciation in 1998. They have presented at libraries, art centers, and museums in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida, and have been lecturing at New Canaan Library since 2010.
