May 24, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join us for the live zoom webinar on Tuesday, May 24th at 7pm EST.
In this lecture, ArtScapades will look at Precisionism, the first real American modern art movement. Precisionism was driven by a desire to bring structure back to art and celebrated the new American landscape of skyscrapers, bridges, and factories. This lecture will look at the lives and works of Charles Demuth, Joseph Stella, Charles Sheeler and Georgia O’Keeffe.
Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman, of ArtScapades, began teaching art appreciation in 1998. They have presented at libraries, art centers, and museums in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida, and have been lecturing at New Canaan Library since 2010.
