In Realism, ArtScapades shows the move away from the historical and literary themes of Romanticism and towards common, ordinary subjects.

Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman began ArtScapades in 2009 after teaching art appreciation for ten years in the New Canaan public school system.  This is their eleventh series of lectures at New Canaan Library.
