Women of Abstract Expressionism explores four women artists…Perle Fine, Grace Hartigan, Joan Mitchell, and Helen Frankenthaler.  This lecture will look at each of these artist’s careers and how their art responded to particular places, memories, and their life experiences. 

Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman, of ArtScapades, began teaching art appreciation in 1998. They have presented at libraries, art centers, and museums in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida, and have been lecturing at New Canaan Library since 2010.
