Build Each Other Up! A Family and Community Workshop

March 24 @ 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

Location: Online

Gather the whole family and join New Canaan CARES’ Stacey Walker and Judy Phillips for a discussion on how families and communities can learn and grow together. What does family and community mean to you? How can we empower and learn from each other? We have some fun in store for you as you think about these questions and more. Join us on Zoom to create a family project together. Material pickup and instructions will be provided following registration.

We will explore ways that families can work together to achieve goals and ways that a collaborative spirit can help us empower members of our larger community as well. Learn about a few local organizations that bring community members together.

This is a whole-family workshop best suited for children ages 6+ and their caregivers.

Register here.

New Canaan CARES is an independent, non-profit community organization whose purpose is to advance the health and well-being of youth and families. This program is in partnership with New Canaan CARES and New Canaan Library.

During the month of March, New Canaan Library celebrates “One Author New Canaan” and the literary works of award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson with programming that supports and honors themes found throughout her work. This program is inspired by the community-spiritedness that we find throughout Ms. Woodson’s books.

This program is intended only for families with children.
