Join us for a two session class that is part coding, part creative writing. The class will meet on Mondays, December 7 and 14 from 4:30-5:30 PM.  Using Twine, an open-source development platform,  you will learn how to create a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ game.  What to expect: This class is hands-on and collaborative. We will work on brief creative writing exercises as we learn the basics of Twine. You will be coding and writing your own story throughout the class. Students will be encouraged to share their game development progress with the class.

Twine is an open-source tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories.  Twine uses a simple but elegant coding syntax that makes it easy to incorporate interactivity, variables and conditional logic into complex, nonlinear stories.   Twine publishes directly to HTML, so you can post your work nearly anywhere.
