March 19 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Location: Lamb Room

Join Vladimir Mariano, Founder of the Fairfield County Makers’ Guild and Makerspace supervisor at Norwalk Community College, as he introduces you to the world of combat robotics. Learn how the Guild created a robot as a group to compete in duels, and watch video clips to see the robot’s strong suits and vulnerabilities in battle. In keeping with the theme of Spare Parts, Vladimir will have “spare parts” on hand to show attendees what went into creating this mighty robot. Attendees will even be able to take a turn controlling the robot at the end of the program!
