Cooking By The Book, back by popular demand, is for cooks interested in enhancing their knowledge about food, culture, culinary history and all that is savory. This session explores the curious cuisines in the news today: Gwyneth Paltrow (tasty, simple, and easy to make recipes), Yotam Ottolenghi (international food sensation), Melissa Hartwig (the Whole 30 innovator) and Ayurvedic foods (an ancient holistic wisdom from India). For four occasions (February 13, March 12 & April 9, May 14) we cook and eat! We learn by cooking (at home) and sharing (at the library). We will also discuss new food inventions: Insta Pot, Sous Vide, Primal/Paleo, etc. that is rocking the food world.
