Location: MakerLab

The Cricut Air in the MakerLab can be used to cut many different materials! At this workshop, we will use the Cricut, an electronic cutting machine, to cut ornament shapes from felt and then hand embellish the cutouts to create festive decorations for your home. Sew or glue your ornament pieces together, insert some stuffing, and add buttons, beads, glitter tape, sequins and more! For ages 8-adult.

Due to time constraints, we will have most of our felt pieces pre-cut for the class. We will start the class with a felt cutting demo using the Cricut machine. There are six projects to select from: star; gingerbread man/woman; partridge/bird; menorah; snow scene; and owl. See images below for examples of finished versions of these starter options. Please indicate your project choice during registration.
