
Geneaology: Military Records

In this presentation on Armed Forces Day, Toni will cover what documents are available, the information they contain, how to find them, and how to use them for further research. She will provide an informative handout which lists helpful military sites and how to use them. As a special bonus, the lecture will begin with a lovely power point presentation of historical WWI and WWII posters and she will be wearing an authentic WWII military jacket.

Toni McKeen has taught genealogy courses for the last 14 years in her home town of Ridgefield, CT. She has taught over 4000 hours of genealogy courses at Founders Hall in Ridgefield, Redding, CT as well as Bronxville and Mamaroneck, NY. Toni has also been a popular lecturer at various genealogy societies in the New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Boston, and Long Island areas.
