Improvisational Quilting with Robin Green

Leave templates and rulers behind as you improvise a small quilt.  Learn a variety of improvisational piecing techniques, expand and challenge your understanding of color, and let go of preconceptions as you discover a new way to approach the quilting process.

Two Sessions with break: 10:00am-12:00pm and 2:00-4:00pm

Robin Green is the Gallery and Programs Manager at Creative Arts Workshop, where she also teaches a variety of textile classes and workshops. Her work has been featured in The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters and she is currently an artist-in-residence at the Ely Center for Contemporary Art in New Haven. She brings a fun and fearless attitude to the act of making quilts, and creates a welcoming environment for students at every level of experience.
