LEGO Mindstorms Challenge: Candy Thrower
October 26, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Working in small teams, build and program a robot using the library’s LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits. For this month’s challenge, build and program a robot that will throw candy to our trick-or-treaters at the Library. No experience necessary, but a willingness to explore, fail and try again is needed. For grades 4th and older.
Did you know that the Library has LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits always available for play in the MakerLab? The kits are kept on the tall shelf in yellow boxes. Students are welcome to take down the kits and build and program robots.
LEGO Mindstorms EV3 allow you to create and command your own robots. Use different LEGO elements such as a programmable brick, motors, sensors, and various LEGO parts to make your robotic creations come alive!
