June 27 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Location:

Please join us for this in-person program at the Lapham Community Center, 10am-11:30am.

June is Pride Month and is the perfect time to learn new things! This training will engage participants in a thorough overview of the LGBTQ+ community. It will cover an understanding of “who” and “what” we’re referring to when we talk about the LGBTQ+ community. From terminology and definitions to rethinking historical and traditional assumptions about gender and sexuality, this training is a must for all those who wish to be allies to the community and to build inclusive practices. All are welcome! Please feel free to submit an anonymous question here prior to the program.

This event is presented in partnership with Lapham Community Center, New Canaan Library, New Canaan Moms, and the Triangle Community Center.
