MakerLab Semester: K’Nex + littleBits
March 6, 2018 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Build something with our K’Nex sets and add littleBits to your design to incorporate motors, LEDs, sound & more! You could build a ferris wheel and add a littleBits motor to make it spin, fast or slow! Or create a tower that lights up only when it is dark.
For ages 8+.
K’Nex is a construction toy system. The toy’s building system consists of interlocking plastic rods, connectors, blocks, gears, wheels, and other components, which can be pieced together to form a wide variety of models, machines, and architectural structures.
Create tomorrow’s innovators and idea-makers with littleBits electronic building blocks. These easy-to-use Bits make creative discovery and invention a snap for next-generation thinkers, designers, and tinkerers. No programming, soldering or wiring required.
MakerLab Semester Take part in a semester of hands-on exploration in the MakerLab. Every Tuesday from March 6 through April 24 will feature a new topic and project.
