If you’ve ever considered making your own wine but didn’t know where to begin, this program is for you. Join New Canaan resident and winemaking hobbyist John Kriz for an interactive Zoom program, as he explains how with the right equipment, home winemaking (and cider and mead) can be inexpensive and easy. The program will also provide an overview of the equipment needed, key vocabulary, websites and books to help deepen your wine-making knowledge, and the important steps involved in beginner winemaking.

An information packet will be provided upon registration to allow attendees to follow along with John’s presentation notes and take notes of their own.

Speaker bio:

Long-time New Canaan resident John J. Kriz is an award-winning home winemaker and has been making wine for over a decade. He is also a beekeeper and candlemaker.
