The xy coordinate system you recognize from math class has its origins in the Middle Ages. Learn a little about its history and explore real-world applications in coding and craft. Workshop meets Wednesday-Friday, July 24-26 from 10 to noon. For rising 6th graders and older.
Day one of the camp, we will learn about electronics and programming using an Arduino to code a LED display.
Day two, we will learn about an older technology: cross stitch which uses a coordinate system for patterns.
Day three, students get to choose which project they want to continue to explore.
