Location: Plaut Room

This class has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 12 from 4-6 PM.

After a quick introduction to the Python programming language, we will build robots using our LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits and program them using Python to complete basic challenges. Mindstorms are usually programmed using a visual programming software, but for this class we will be booting the ev3dev OS on the Mindstorms bricks. For ages 10+.

Registration is full.

Did you know that the Library has LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits always available for play in the MakerLab? The kits are kept on the tall shelf in yellow boxes. Students are welcome to take down the kits and build and program robots.
LEGO Mindstorms EV3 allow you to create and command your own robots. Use different LEGO elements such as a programmable brick, motors, sensors, and various LEGO parts to make your robotic creations come alive!
