Finding Elusive Females
Locating females in our ancestral culture can present special problems when single woman disappear under her husband’s surname. Finding key information can be a challenge but careful, methodical research can result in successful results. Happily there are many documents and web sites that can aid in our search.
TONI MCKEEN has taught genealogy courses for the last 14 years in her hometown of Ridgefield, CT. She has taught over 4,000 hours of genealogy courses at Founders Hall in Ridgefield as well as Redding, Bronxville and Mamaroneck. Toni is a popular lecturer at various genealogy societies in the New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Boston and Long Island areas.
