Scratch Code Club for Grades 3-5

March 16 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Location: Online

Join us on Zoom for a monthly Scratch challenge. This month we will be developing an escape style game of Cat & Mouse. We will open with an introduction to the challenge. You can then follow along with us as we start coding or work in your own direction to develop your game. Ask Volunteer Katie or Librarian Laura questions as you work. We will save time for everyone to share their project with the class at the end of the session. A Scratch account is required to save your work. A computer (Windows, Apple or Chromebook) is needed for coding on the Scratch website.

About Scratch
With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.

Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge.
