Scratch Code Club for Grades 4-6
July 19, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us on Zoom for a monthly Scratch coding challenge. We will start the class by introducing a challenge- you can work on the challenge with us by following along with our coding demonstrations or work in your own direction! Ask Volunteer Katie or Librarian Laura questions as you work. We will save time for everyone to share their project with the class at the end of the session. A Scratch account is required to save your work. A computer (Windows, Apple or Chromebook) is needed for coding on the Scratch website.
About Scratch
With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.
Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge.
