February 7 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Location: Lamb Room

When parents move closer to their adult children it can be a positive move – but it’s not without its downsides. The panel will look at both the pros and cons, considering whether the physical proximity and feeling safe and cared for balances the loss of friends, familiarity and independence. The panel will be moderated by Kathy Collins, Director of Member Resources, Staying Put in New Canaan, and will include Judy Johnson, a parent who moved closer to her family, Sheila Rosenthal, a parent who chose to stay put in her community and Carol Hollyday of William Sotheby‚Äôs Realty, an expert in downsizing and decluttering options.
