Take the Reins: Empowering Children when Bullying Happens (In Person)
October 6, 2021 @ 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm
An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until October 21, 2021

In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month, join us for a 3-session, hands-on workshop to empower children in grades 3 to 5 to stand up for themselves and others. Kids gather at the Library for storytelling, games, and more. Develop practical skills to use when confronted with difficult situations, and have fun in the process!
Register here. Please plan to attend all three classes, as the lessons build on one another. We will meet in the Library’s Children’s Program Room. All participants must wear a mask for the duration of the program.
New Canaan CARES is an independent, non-profit community organization whose purpose is to advance the health and well-being of youth and families. This program is in partnership with New Canaan CARES and New Canaan Library.
This program is intended only for families with children in grades 3-5. If your child cannot wear a mask for medical reasons please contact Marie Aspinwall ([email protected]) 24 hours prior to class to discuss possible accommodations.
