Teen Murder Mystery Writing Group

November 9 @ 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Monday, repeating until November 23, 2020

Location: Zoom Videoconference

Have you ever wanted to write and host your own murder mystery party? Do you want to find out who in your family is a secret Sherlock Holmes?

Every Monday evening for 4 weeks, we will work together to create a game that can be played with family and friends this Thanksgiving! You’ll learn how to write compelling characters, establish the setting and scene of the crime, and design clues that can help your sleuths uncover the truth. We will create a game that can be played over Zoom or in person, so even if you are separated by distance this year you can still have fun with some of your favorite people!

Please plan to attend all 4 sessions. We will be working with a collaborative Google doc and viewing slides, so the program is best experienced on a computer.

For grades 6-9. Register here for the Zoom link.

This program is intended for teens. Adults (age 18 and above) who do not have express permission from New Canaan Library may not participate and will be removed from the program.
