September 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Lamb Room

We live in an increasingly complex information environment where people have access to an abundance of information resources and can share a news-story on various social media platforms, growing its audience. The concept of ‘fake news’ has become a widespread fear and phenomenon for both consumers and corporations. Fortunately, many are in support of the push for information literacy education for all.

Join us at the Library for a lively discussion on misinformation, its proliferation on social media, mitigation with education, and more.
