An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Thursday, happening 4 times

Location: Online

Join Coach Shawn Parker from Team DIG USA in honing your chess skills! Our beginner chess students will learn how to play chess from the ground up. We will start by covering all the rules. Then we will make sure that all the students understand the different ways that the pieces can move including castling and en passant. After that, we will discuss the value of each piece and how they work together. Students will play matches against each other every class to practice what they learn. Please register for a FREE chess.com account prior to the class. For Grades 2nd-8th. Please make sure you can attend all four sessions (1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28)
