September 4 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Location: Lamb Room

Did you know that New Canaan’s largest private landowner is the New Canaan Land Trust? Did you know that they own and manage close to 75 properties, many of which are open to the public? Have you ever wondered what a conservation easement is, or why land stewardship is so important? All of these questions, and more, will be addressed by Aaron Lefland, the Executive Director of the New Canaan Land Trust. Participants will also learn about NCLT’s current initiatives, ways to become involved with the organization, and come away with a greater appreciation for the conserved open spaces in our town.
