The beauty and complexity of the natural world inspires artistic expression of all kinds.  Natural environments can also be a deep source of inspiration for scientists, as they search for solutions. As humans, we face significant challenges unique to our modern era. However, with the help of scientists, we can overcome these challenges with  innovations grounded in the natural world.

From the atmosphere that envelopes our planet and the aquatic habitats that cover it, to the creatures that share it with us, understanding the environment aids scientists in developing cutting-edge technologies to improve our lives and the health of the planet.

Yale Science Communication is an organization of graduate students and postdoctoral individuals passionate about science communication, education, and advocacy.
