- Here’s what you need
- Cut a strip of paper in your flower color measuring 3 x 11 inches.
- Use a ruler and mark every quarter of an inch on the long side of your strip.
- Cut on every quarter inch line marking. Do not cut all the way across! Draw a stop line about an inch from the opposite edge.
- Use a pencil or bamboo skewer to curl the cuts. A bamboo stick will give you a tighter curl.
- Make your stem. Cut a strip in your stem paper that measures 2 x 11 inches.
- Attach your flower to your stem. Apply glue to the backside of your flower piece. Make sure the cuts curl away from you. Wrap your flower paper diagonally down your stem.
